My Road Trip To Toronto for the Era’s Tour

Niagara Falls State Park Stop on the way to Toronto for the Eras Tour

After hitting the road from Richmond, VA, I embarked on the scenic drive up to Toronto for the Era’s Tour. The journey was filled with winding highways and beautiful countryside views, making the drive a relaxing start to the adventure. Just over halfway through, I decided to make a pit stop at one of the most iconic natural wonders in the world—Niagara Falls.

As I pulled into the parking area, the roar of the falls grew louder, and I couldn’t help but be in awe of the sheer power and beauty of the water cascading over the edge. I spent some time walking along the observation decks, taking in the mist and the stunning views from every angle. There’s something truly magical about standing there, surrounded by the thundering falls and vibrant rainbow in the sky.

After snapping some photos and soaking in the awe-inspiring scene, I got back on the road, feeling refreshed and ready to continue my journey toward Toronto. The rest of the drive flew by, and before I knew it, I was pulling into downtown Toronto for the Era’s Tour, excited for the next chapter of the trip.

Day 1: Arrival and Downtown Delights

Downtown Toronto - CN Tower, Boston Pizza, and Harbor Towne. Day 1 in Toronto for the Eras Tour

After settling into my hotel in downtown Toronto for the Era’s Tour, I headed out to explore the city’s iconic landmarks. First up was the CN Tower, right next to Rogers Centre. I took in the stunning views from the tower before heading over to the stadium to scout out the venue for my show the following night. It was a great opportunity to get a feel for the space and the vibe before the big event.

Later, I headed to Boston Pizza, a cozy spot right across from the stadium. The place had a fun, Taylor Swift-themed menu, and I couldn’t resist ordering from it. The atmosphere was lively, with swiftie hits playing in the background, making it the perfect pre-show spot. I enjoyed a delicious meal, all while soaking in the festive energy of the place, excited for the weekend ahead.

Day 2: Taylor Swift and City Adventures

Day 2 - OEB Breakfast, Taylor Swift Era's Tour. Day 2 in Toronto for the Eras Tour

The big day had arrived! I started the morning with a delicious breakfast at OEB, where they had amazing gluten-free options, and I couldn’t resist trying the Canadian staple—peameal bacon. It was the perfect start to the day.

In the afternoon, I walked over to the Royal Ontario Museum, and explored its impressive exhibits. Afterward, I took a leisurely stroll to Queen Street West, checking out the trendy shops and indulging in a little window shopping (okay, maybe a bit of real shopping too). The vibe there was chic and exclusive, a perfect way to pass the time before the big evening ahead.

Then, it was time for the highlight of the trip—Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour at Rogers Centre! The performance was absolutely breathtaking, and the energy in the stadium was electric. My surprise songs were “Ours” mashed up with “The Last Great American Dynasty” on guitar, followed by a mash-up of “Cassandra,” “Mad Woman,” and “I Did Something Bad” on the piano. From singing my heart out to soaking in the stunning visuals, it was a night I’ll never forget.

Day 3: A Relaxed Day of Exploration

Day 3 - Distillery District, Shopping, Kelly's Landing. Last day in Toronto for the Eras Tour

For my final day in Toronto for the Era’s Tour, I took it easy and wandered through some of the city’s most charming spots. I started with a peaceful stroll through the Distillery District, where the cobblestone streets and historic buildings created a cozy, old-world atmosphere. The Christmas decorations were up, and the entire area had a festive glow, with twinkling lights and seasonal displays adding to the magic of the day.

After soaking in the holiday spirit, I made my way over to the Fairmont Royal York Hotel, admiring its grandeur and historic charm. From there, I popped into the Hockey Hall of Fame, a must-see for any fan of the sport. It was fun to check out all the memorabilia and relive some of the most iconic moments in Canadian hockey history.

By midday, I was ready for lunch, so I stopped into Kellys Landing for a delicious meal. The cozy atmosphere and hearty dishes were the perfect way to refuel before wrapping up my trip.

With a full stomach and a content heart, I ended my day with a last walk through the city, soaking in the festive sights and the skyline before heading home.
