What Are The Greatest Gluten-Free Snacks?

I’ll preface this list by saying one thing, I’m a snack-a-holic. I love small snacks that help get me through my day when I need a little something to eat. With that being said, these are MY top 5 all-time greatest gluten-free snacks that I enjoy on a regular basis.

Homemade Nachos

First on our list is homemade nachos. When you need something quick and easy that will get you to your next meal, homemade nachos are your solution. Being completely biased, I make a mean homemade nacho recipe.

This quick snack is sure to hit the spot. And the best part is you get to top them with whatever you want! They are completely customizable to fit your mood which is why homemade nachos land on my top 5 all-time greatest gluten-free snacks list. Just make sure you use gluten-free chips…

To enjoy this snack, simply pick up a bag of your favorite gluten-free pretzels and a condiment of your choice. I tend to vary between spicy mustard and yellow mustard. The choice is yours!

Gluten-Free Cereal & Milk

Next on our list is a classic – gluten-free cereal & milk. As a former athlete, I constantly ate cereal and milk during my career for the extra carbohydrates and micronutrients. This was my go-to recovery snack after a long day of practice.

Still to this day, I enjoy gluten-free cereal and milk as a late-night snack before bed. Finding the right gluten-free cereal is crucial. Some of my favorites include Cheerios, Magic Spoon, and of course, Lucky Charms.

Yogurt & Chocolate Chips

For those of you who have a sweet tooth, yogurt with chocolate chips is the perfect snack to fulfill your craving. Depending on how much chocolate you add to your yogurt, this snack option is a healthy pick-me-up that’s sure to leave you feeling good.

Currently, my favorite yogurt is the sugar-free (or reduced sugar) Chobani Greek yogurt. I enjoy adding chocolate chips and strawberries to make the perfect yogurt bowl.

Almond Flour Crackers & Sharp Cheddar Cheese

Last but certainly not least, one of my favorite gluten-free snacks is almond flour crackers and sharp cheddar cheese. WARNING: These crackers are addicting… (not literally). This is a great summer day snack and leaves you feeling tied over till your next meal.

My favorite almond flour crackers are made by Simple Mills. Grab your favorite block of cheddar cheese and enjoy!
