My Story

A life built around the things I love

I'm Haley Thomas — a Health Sciences graduate from the College of William & Mary and former DI athlete who traded gym floors for shorelines. After years working in health and fitness, I started Tide & Thyme as a creative outlet for cooking and writing, and it slowly grew into something I truly loved.

In 2024, I got married, shifted careers, and found a balance I hadn't known before. Then in May 2025, my husband and I packed up and moved to Wilmington, North Carolina — a place that instantly felt like home.

Living near the coast sparked ideas I'd been sitting on for years. A few months later, I launched Seventh Shore, a coastal apparel brand that's become one of the most creatively fulfilling things I've ever built.

This space — now called haleyhthomas — reflects everything I'm building and sharing. Not just one niche, but a full life: recipes, style, wellness, entrepreneurship, and the everyday coastal moments in between.

Where you'll find me

Nose in a book on the beach, cooking something for the second time this week, or on a walk with Reilly and Rory — my two golden retrievers who make everything better.

Based in

Wilmington, North Carolina — a place that instantly felt like home the moment we arrived. Living near the water changed everything.

Reilly Head Taste Tester

Reilly leads the taste testing department with passion and zero restraint. Now that he's living the beach life he always dreamed of, you'll find him chasing squirrels, taking long walks on the beach, and napping in his favorite chair. He earned it.

Rory Junior Taste Tester

Rory reports to Reilly and brings enormous enthusiasm to everything she does. When she's off the clock, she's dedicated to removing every last bit of stuffing from her beloved lamby, running the neighborhood watch program with great seriousness, and catching up on her favorite TV shows. A girl of many talents.
