What Makes The Best Gluten-Free Banana Bread?

Similar to my banana muffins, I take my Nan’s banana bread recipe very seriously. This recipe is a staple in our household as my husband demands I let the bananas ripe so I can use them for baking. With that being said, we’ve developed strict criteria for what makes the best gluten-free banana bread:

  • Crispy layer on top, soft and warm inside
  • Chocolatey but not too sweet
  • Completely mixed – NO CHUNKS OF BANANA!

If we’re able to meet these 3 simple checkboxes, we’re well on our way to a successful banana bread!

Storing Your Leftovers

This banana bread muffin recipe makes A LOT of bread. Most of you won’t eat the entire thing in one sitting… unless you’re my husband. That being said, this is a super easy item to store!

To keep your bread fresh for days after baking, seal it in a Ziplock bag or place the remaining slices in a sealed cake stand. Ensure your storage containers are sealed, this will prevent your bread from going stale.

This gluten-free banana bread is just as good the next day! Make sure to seal up your leftovers and enjoy this family recipe for days to come!
