Ingredients Needed For Spicy Crock-Pot Brown Sugar Beef Chili
The ingredients needed to make the best gluten-free spicy brown sugar beef chili are listed below. Notice most of them are spices for our chili seasoning. A substitute would be to purchase pre-packaged chili seasoning, but you might lose some of the kick…

- 15 oz can crushed tomatoes
- 15 oz can brown sugar baked beans

- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoons pepper
- 1-2 tablespoon red pepper flakes
How To Make The Best Spicy Brown Sugar Beef Chili
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Once shimmering, add diced onion.
- Let cook 2-3 minutes and then add ground beef.
- Let cook for another 2-3 minutes and then add minced garlic.
- Cook ground beef, breaking up the beef as it cooks until browned (about 5 minutes.)
- Plug in crock-pot and add in cooked ground beef and onion mixture, crushed tomatoes, baked beans, and seasonings.
- Cook on low for 3-5 hours or high for 1-3 hours.
- Serve with extra toppings such as cilantro, Greek yogurt, cheese, tortilla chips, and jalapeños.
Storing Your Leftovers
Storing your leftovers is as easy as one, two, chili! When you’re ready to put away your chili, grab your favorite refrigerator safe container and seal your leftovers. Place them in the fridge to enjoy at a later time.
When reheating your chili, place chili in a microwavable bowl and heat to your desired temperature. I recommend covering the bowl with a paper towel as the chili tends to splatter when it gets warm.
